Glad to have refreshed my awesome juicer with shiny new parts. My motor initially failed and the company replaced it for free as per the warranty. I’m sure it will continue going for many years as it’s an absolute tank. Happy to buy new parts knowing how well the motor works and that the juicer will last me a long time.

Honestly I find that my juice needs straining more now with the new drum and strainer than it did with the original parts... I'm happy to be back to juicing but not happy about the performance and...

Hi - the newer machine, the Oscar Classic would be more effective at juicing soft fruits such as grapes. It has an extra juicing strainer, with larger holes - specifically for juicing soft fruits. You are using an older DA1000 - you need to turn the pressure right down when juicing soft fruits.

Like having a brand new machine. Thankfully these two items are sold together and if you are looking to replace one of them, you also have to replace the other.

Thanks for your feedback. Note that you only need to replace the drum if you have the old drum number 1. The newer version of the strainer works with the newer drum. All Oscars sold since around 2017 came with the newer drum. Customers need to compare theirs to the photo on the website

I have a DA900 which is still a powerhouse after 15 years however the DA1000 I bought for my son, was damaged when his toddler deposited a spatula handle down the feed chute. Eco hub replaced he damaged parts, within a few days. Communication was top notch as was the entire process. Fantastic product with excellent after service.

I followed the advice to buy the combo. The service was prompt and without any hazards. I have received the product in perfect order, used it twice since and am totally happy with the result.
